As we reflect on 2025, SOTO Sake celebrates a year defined by deliberate growth and the pursuit of modern innovation in the premium Japanese spirits category.
The Launch of a New Modern Icon
One of the highlights of our year was the official rollout of the SOTO Junmai Ginjo. Sourced from the pristine waters of Nagano, Japan, and crafted with Miyamanishiki rice, this expression has quickly become a cornerstone of our collection. Its 55% polishing ratio and smooth, fruit-forward profile represent our dedication to bringing high-quality Japanese heritage to the modern U.S. palate.
This year, we moved “SOTO” (outside) the traditional boundaries of sake:
- Culinary Partnerships: We expanded our food pairing programs, proving that super premium sake is the ultimate companion for everything from charcuterie and salty meats to artisanal pizza. Including, Gotham Food Pantry, Wagamama, PF Changs, Bondi, Omakai, Erewon to name a few.
- Cocktail Innovation: Through collaborations with world-class entrepreneurs and mixologists, we integrated SOTO into high-end cocktail programs, highlighting its versatility as a clean, all-natural ingredient. Establishments such as Wagamama, Sushi Nakazawa, Shirokuro, and Lowlands Bar.
- Creative Collaborations: Some of the many collaborators Bethenny Frankel, District Vision, Public Records, Cibone, Climate Cardinals, Miami Open Tennis and F1 Racing. We partnered with galleries and makers pushing the boundaries of design, reinforcing the SOTO bottle as a modern icon and brand ambassador.
- Recognitions & Awards: SOTO was globally recognized for its excellence by Texom, PR%F Awards, San Francisco Wine Challenge, IWSC, and World Sake Challenge.
Looking Ahead to 2026 we are only scratching the surface of what is possible. Thank you for supporting the global sake community and choosing a brand rooted in purity and tradition. Wishing you a healthy, inspired, and mindful start to the new year. Kanpai!
