We are incredibly grateful to share that SOTO Junmai Ginjo was recently featured in Food & Beverage Magazine.
When we introduced this bottle, our goal wasn’t just to add a new line to our portfolio—it was to invite everyone into a deeper exploration of Japanese craftsmanship, terroir, and the rituals of sharing a drink. Seeing that journey celebrated by the culinary community is something we don’t take lightly.
From the Alps to the Table: The Story of Our Nagano Expression
For this chapter, we looked to the celebrated Nagano Prefecture: a region defined by its breath-taking altitude, deep-rooted culinary traditions, and exceptional natural hydrology.
Our Junmai Ginjo is a reflection of that landscape. Crafted using pristine snowmelt from the Japanese Alps, the water is naturally filtered through mineral-rich earth, giving the sake a remarkable clarity and an elegant, vibrant profile.
It is simultaneously sharp and silky, bringing a beautiful balance to the table:
- The Aroma: Fruity and floral, catching notes of white grape, crisp apple, banana bread, and a subtle accent of fresh basil.
- The Flavor: Bright layers of berry and stone fruit, balanced by hints of persimmon and a sophisticated, medium-to-high acidity.
- The Texture: Smooth, slightly dry, and grounded by a crisp, highly textured finish.
Because of this unique sensory balance, we often call it a “playful chameleon.” It acts as a bridge between flavors, elevating everything from an intentional fine-dining experience to a simple, late-afternoon charcuterie board shared among friends.
Honor the Source
True to the SOTO philosophy, our gray-labeled Junmai Ginjo represents a commitment to pure materials. It stays completely faithful to our Clean Label promise: 100% all-natural, gluten-free, with zero sulfites, and zero preservatives. It is a gentler, more mindful way to pour.
A heartfelt thank you to our community, our restaurant and retail partners who welcome us onto their tables daily, and the editors at Food & Beverage Magazine for sharing this new piece of our story.
Whether you are gathering around a summer table or exploring home mixology through our newly launched SOTO Cocktail Page, we invite you to cool down, serve it chilled, and let the ritual set your pace.
Everything in balance. SOTO.
