The Nihon Cosmo is a sharp evolution of the classic cosmo, utilizing SOTO Junmai to provide a clean base. The addition of Dry Curacao and yuzu introduces a sophisticated citrus acidity that cuts through the tartness of cranberry. This focused expression strips away the weight of traditional vodka-based builds, resulting in a lean, high-toned profile. It is an elegant, modern cocktail with a vibrant palate and a dry finish.

What You Need

2.5oz SOTO Junmai sake

.25oz Yuzu juice

.75oz Cranberry

.5oz Dry Curacao or Curacao simple syrup 1:1

Garnish – Orange twist

Glassware Coupe or Nic&Nora

The Method

Add all ingredients over ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled glass.
