Espresso Martini

A rich take on the classic martini that pairs SOTO Junmai with the bold depth of espresso and coffee liqueur. This cocktail reimagines the popular modern favorite with a clean sake base, balanced by the roasted notes of coffee and demerara. It is a structured expression that offers a full-bodied palate and a smooth, velvety finish.

What You Need

2oz SOTO Junmai

1oz espresso or strong cold brew

.5oz Coffee Liqueur

.5oz demerara syrup

Optional: .5oz aged rum or .5oz Madeira for additional complexity

To increase flavor further, infuse the sake with coffee by heating the sake and using it to brew coffee in a French press or pour over. 

Garnish – 3 coffee beans

Glassware Coupe or Nic & Nora

The Method

Add all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously to chill and build crema. Strain into a chilled glass.
